Herman Guppy
The most well known of the Guppy brothers is Anthony's oldest brother Herman
who has firmly established himself as one of the top steel-pan manufacturer and tuner
in Trinidad & Tobago and internationally - producing some of the T&T finest quality
instruments.
Herman has receiving reviews and Awards for his fine work of arts and promoting
the culture of Trinidad & Tobago
Herman Guppy Steelpans factory is where many steelpans instruments are lovingly
crafted to perfection by Herman Guppy and exported to many of the caribbean islands,
Switzerland, France, England, Sweden, Denmark,China, USA, Canada, Japan, Germany and
other countries.
Kenneth Guppy
Kennth a very talented steelpan player, arranger and pan-tutor also works at
Herman's pan factory manufacturing steelpans.
Besides performing with his very own Group "Stryke Stars". Kenneth is also a
member of the famous "Samaroo Jets Steelband" where he plays the bass.
As an arranger Kenneth Guppy has work with many steelbands in Trinidad & Tobago
and England (arranging music for the pan-contest ) and also as a conductor of classical
music.
A well travelled musician, Kenneth has performed in the USA, Canada, Spain, India
France, England, Israel Caribbean and other countries.
Clinton Guppy
Clinton is also a very skilled steelpan player, he performed at many large concerts,
events and Pan Festvals. Although he is not as active performing as before,you can find
him at Herman's Steelpan-factory working, there he spends most of his time improving on
his knowledge and techniques of making steel-pans.
